Lombardo says he supports expanding access to affordable care and created the Nevada Health Authority to streamline state health programs. His campaign also says he supports contraceptive access and remains pro-life, while leaving abortion policy to Nevada voters.

Lombardo says his administration has focused on tax relief, reduced regulation, workforce development, and attracting private investment to diversify Nevada’s economy. His campaign highlights lower business taxes, fewer regulations, and major new investment and job growth as core results.

Lombardo supports an all-of-the-above energy approach that includes renewables, natural gas, and other reliable sources. He has also promoted Nevada’s Climate Innovation Plan and said he wants to expand energy production while supporting economic growth.

Lombardo says he is Catholic and pro-life, but that abortion policy should be decided by Nevada voters rather than imposed by politicians. His campaign also says he supports access to contraceptives as an essential part of healthcare and wants contraceptives to remain accessible in Nevada.

Lombardo says Nevada should follow federal immigration law and not be a sanctuary state. His administration has also said it will cooperate with federal authorities on immigration enforcement.

Lombardo says he supports the Second Amendment, opposes gun registries, and has vetoed several gun-control bills. His campaign and news coverage also show support for targeted public-safety measures and tougher penalties for violent crime.

Lombardo has publicly described Iran as a threat to the United States and Israel and said Iran must never obtain a nuclear weapon. After U.S. strikes on Iran, he called for a swift resolution and said Nevada law enforcement would coordinate with federal partners to protect public safety.

Lombardo is backing a 2026 ballot initiative to bar transgender girls and women from girls’ and women’s sports in Nevada. He says the proposal is about fairness and safety, while critics argue it would discriminate against transgender students.

Lombardo says he has prioritized school choice, teacher pay, accountability, and literacy initiatives. His campaign says Nevada has expanded charter seats, funded education more heavily, and opted into a federal tax credit scholarship program under his administration.

Lombardo signed a 2025 law expanding Nevada’s child pornography statutes to cover AI-generated or AI-modified images. That action shows support for regulating harmful AI content, but his campaign does not appear to have a broader public AI platform.

Lombardo says election administration should remain a state issue and has supported voter ID in principle, but he vetoed a 2025 voter-ID bill because of implementation concerns. He has also opposed efforts he views as nationalizing elections.

Lombardo has centered his local agenda on public safety, housing affordability, and state services. His administration highlights the Nevada Safe Streets and Neighborhoods Act, housing initiatives, and efforts to reduce homelessness and improve government efficiency.
